Job summary

Félix is seeking a visionary Director of Engineering Operations in the United States to own strategy and execution across Security, DevOps, QA, and Observability. You will bridge development and reliability, enabling fast, secure code delivery with a deep technical empathy for engineers.

The role requires 12+ years in software/infra and 5+ years in senior management, with hands-on AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD. Fully remote now, with a future hybrid path and competitive equity.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software engineering, infrastructure, or platform operations
• 5+ years in senior engineering management (Director level or above)
• Deep hands-on background in Cloud Architecture (AWS/GCP), Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Experience overseeing CI/CD tooling and enterprise observability/security tooling
• Background managing globally distributed, remote-first engineering teams

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale Security, DevOps, QA, Infrastructure, CI/CD, and Observability functions
• Bridge core software development and operational reliability for fast, secure shipping
• Drive DevOps culture, cost management, and vendor relationships
• Define SLOs/SLIs and maintain robust incident response and governance
• Modernize QA, testing, environments, and developer experience
