Qualifications

• Led engineering organizations for large-scale SaaS infrastructure.
• Proven track record of reliability, performance, and cost improvements.
• Deep expertise in cloud-native and modular services across clouds.
• Experience delivering compliant enterprise-grade SaaS offerings (FedRAMP/GovCloud).
• Experience driving AI-enabled improvements in engineering workflows.
• Ability to translate financial targets into engineering plans and headcount.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy and roadmap for GitLab Dedicated, aligning with cellular architecture.
• Collaborate with Product and Exec leadership to hit growth targets and improve onboarding.
• Lead engineering teams across deployment, resilience, incident response, and migrations.
• Deliver GovTech readiness: AWS GovCloud, FedRAMP, air-gapped isolation, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive self-service tooling and guided workflows for enterprise migrations.
• Hire and scale managers, fostering AI-enabled improvements across distributed teams.
• Align architecture and investments with customer commitments and long-term strategy.
