GitLab is seeking a Director of Dedicated Infrastructure Engineering & Platforms to lead the engineering org behind GitLab Dedicated, our premium single-tenant SaaS offering for government and regulated industries. You will shape the strategy for single-tenant platforms and drive investments to meet enterprise needs.

You will scale the team, ensure FedRAMP readiness, and build migration capabilities that enable secure, compliant transitions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering orgs that run enterprise SaaS infrastructure at scale.
• Track record of improving production reliability or reducing toil.
• Deep expertise in cloud-native architectures and modular services.
• Delivered and operated enterprise offerings under strict compliance regimes (FedRAMP, GovCloud).
• Led organizational changes including AI-enabled workflows to boost efficiency.

Responsabilités

• Own the strategy and roadmap for GitLab Dedicated and ensure scalability with customer growth.
• Partner with Product and leadership to meet growth targets and improve onboarding, cost efficiency, and self-service.
• Lead teams building tenant orchestration, resilience, switchboard, and enterprise migrations with enterprise-grade SLAs.
• Deliver GitLab Dedicated for Government including AWS GovCloud, FedRAMP readiness, and air-gapped isolation.
• Drive migrations to Dedicated through self-service tooling and guided workflows.
• Hire, coach, and scale engineering managers across distributed teams and promote AI-enabled workflows.
• Collaborate with Product, Security, and Support to align commitments and investments.
