Job summary

CloudLinux, a global remote-first company, seeks a Director of Corporate Development to own the inorganic growth agenda, including acquisitions, alliances, and major partnerships. You will build the pipeline, develop valuation models, and coordinate post‑close integration while partnering with the CFO on financing and strategy.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience across corporate development, investment banking, private equity, and/or advisory, with direct origination experience.
• Experience building institutional-quality financial models (three-statement, valuation, scenario analysis).
• Experience presenting analyses to executives or investment committees and defending recommendations.
• Knowledge of software/subscription business models and related metrics.

Responsibilities

• Origination: build a pipeline of targets aligned to strategic priorities and manage relationships with bankers and industry advisors.
• Screening & Evaluation: apply standardized scoring and document rationale for go/no-go decisions.
• Valuation & Modeling: develop deal models, scenarios, and integration considerations.
• Acquisition Budgeting & Planning: craft budgets and forecast impacts for deals and post-close periods.
• Integration & Alliances: lead post-close integration plans and evaluate strategic partnerships, JVs, and distribution agreements.
