Blattner is seeking a Director of Construction to join our Gas Power Generation team. This role is remote-based in the U.S. with regular travel and will lead construction management across projects, mentoring leaders and enforcing safety, quality, and risk practices.

The DC builds strategic client relationships to deliver value and drives performance with project managers and site teams. The Director ensures projects are on schedule, within budget, and aligned with corporate policies while

Qualifications

• Four-year construction management, engineering or related degree.
• Five+ years of directly relevant experience in utility-scale natural gas power generation or EPC field execution.
• Strong understanding of construction engineering/design concepts and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction management direction for assigned projects/market segment.
• Lead project managers and site teams to meet schedule, budget and safety goals.
• Develop safety and quality programs and culture for project teams.
• Manage internal financial aspects to protect the company’s interests and ensure cash flow.
