Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Director of Computer Vision to drive the technical vision and engineering execution for a scalable CV platform. You will lead a unified organization across multiple geographies, shaping architecture and AI infrastructure, and aligning with product strategy.

The role emphasizes end-to-end MLOps, performance measurement, and risk management, with a focus on deploying robust visual intelligence at scale for enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading computer vision teams and large-scale platforms.
• Hands-on experience building or researching CV models.
• Architectural vision for central AI infrastructure and models.
• Experience leading distributed teams across geographies.
• Knowledge of MLOps, latency, throughput and reliability metrics.
• Proven ability to translate customer needs into executable roadmaps.
• Start-up mindset with ownership and action bias.
• Public safety or security software knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term research agenda for foundational CV capabilities.
• Provide executive technical leadership and define architecture and roadmap.
• Scale a distributed research and engineering org across geographies.
• Own ML lifecycle, training, deployment, monitoring and optimization.
• Define and track key performance metrics to drive improvement.
• Evaluate new CV research and manage technical risk decisions.
