Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Director of Computer Vision to lead the technical vision and engineering execution for our platform. You will drive architecture, strategy, and roadmaps across a global CV organization, balancing product needs with scalable AI infrastructure.

You will manage multiple teams, mentor senior engineers, and shape the end-to-end MLOps lifecycle—from training to deployment and monitoring—while driving metrics that define engineering excellence and risk management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership in computer vision
• Deep expertise in computer vision, ML algorithms, and MLOps lifecycle
• Experience defining long-term technical vision and roadmaps
• Ability to manage large, distributed teams (50–100) across geographies
• Strong analytical research skills with AI performance metrics
• Proven track record translating complex customer needs into roadmaps

Responsibilities

• Define long-term research agenda for foundational CV capabilities.
• Provide engineering leadership and define architecture and roadmap for CV platform.
• Lead talent strategy across distributed teams.
• Own end-to-end MLOps, training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Define technical metrics to measure engineering excellence.
• Identify risks and guide build-versus-buy decisions.
