Job summary

AGFA HealthCare Corporation seeks an experienced Cloud Operations Leader to build and scale our cloud operations for the enterprise imaging SaaS platform. You will own end-to-end reliability, performance, and security for AWS-first production environments in a remote US/Canada setting.

In collaboration with architecture, engineering, product management, and SecOps, you will drive SRE/SysOps practices, automate toil, manage incidents, and lead a global team across multiple regions, ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
• 10+ years operating and scaling cloud-based production platforms.
• 5+ years leading Cloud Operations/SRE teams in 24/7 environments.
• Experience with regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC2, ISO, NIST) preferred.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational health and performance of production cloud platforms.
• Manage SLAs, error budgets, and KPIs tied to customer experience.
• Lead incident response and post-incident remediation.
• Coordinate with Security, Finance, and other teams.
• Drive automation and toil reduction.
• Oversee capacity planning and scaling strategies.
• Lead a global Cloud Operations / SRE team.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and disaster recovery readiness.
• Foster ownership and continuous improvement.
