Job summary

Thrivent seeks an experienced senior leader to own Money Canvas Coaching Operations, accountable for strategy, operating model, and performance of the coaching delivery channel. You will lead a dispersed team of Coach Managers and 40+ Money Canvas Coaches, aligning initiatives with business goals and customer needs.

You will partner across Product, Design, Engineering, HR, and leadership to drive adoption of new features and improve coaching experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in operations management, customer-facing service delivery, product operations, or related field.
• 5+ years of formal people leadership experience.
• Proven experience influencing product roadmaps, operational roadmaps, or strategic portfolios.
• Proven experience defining and delivering against target metrics.
• Proven ability to translate strategy into executable initiatives.
• Proven experience building, scaling, and developing high-performing teams in remote/geographically dispersed environments.
• Proven ability to define organizational strategy and translate goals into operational plans.
• Strong track record of driving employee engagement, team culture, retention, and leadership effectiveness.
• Experience leading teams through change, ambiguity, and continuous evolution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage insights.
• Excellent organization and prioritization skills, with adaptability to shift and prioritize workstreams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong collaboration and data-driven decision making.
• Business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Own the Coaching Operations strategy, roadmap, and performance.
• Lead a geographically dispersed team of Coach Managers and 40+ Coaches; build high-performance culture.
• Define and track success metrics; drive data-driven improvements.
• Oversee performance management framework and workforce planning.
• Ensure capacity, service levels, and customer experience align with goals.
• Co-own the Operations roadmap with Strategic Operations Manager.
• Represent Coaching Operations to Product, Engineering, HR, and executives.
• Collaborate to pilot and adopt new products and go-to-market initiatives.
• Define strategic direction with leadership to achieve OKRs.
