Job summary

Instruction Partners is seeking a Director of the Middle School Math Initiative, a full-time role remote from a nationwide office with up to 50% travel. You will lead the design and delivery of professional learning to boost teacher and leader capacity to improve secondary math instruction and student outcomes.

Using deep math knowledge and systemic coaching, you’ll guide districts through curriculum implementation, build coherence across levels, and sustain change despite barriers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing and facilitating professional learning for teachers and leaders.
• Mathematics disciplinary expertise in secondary math instruction.
• Adaptive coaching and capacity building across districts.
• Adult learning systems design for curriculum implementation.
• Evidence-informed practice alignment using teacher and student data.
• Strong strategic leadership and systems thinking.

Responsibilities

• Design new professional learning sessions, tools, and frameworks aligned with organizational priorities.
• Facilitate high-quality professional learning and coaching in assigned schools.
• Monitor fidelity of implementation and provide targeted guidance.
• Adjust sessions and coaching approaches to address challenges.
• Collect and analyze feedback to inform improvements.
• Track progress toward implementation milestones and report to leadership.
• Coach facilitators and school leaders to build capacity across schools.
