Job summary

English Mountain Recovery in Sevierville, Tennessee, is seeking a Director of Business Development to establish and coordinate marketing and growth initiatives for facility expansion and referral growth. You will lead a team, manage physician referrals, and engage with community and professional networks to enhance census and services.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and deep knowledge of behavioral health markets, with remote collaboration and driving cross-facility

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Behavioral Health, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• Four or more years’ experience in healthcare business development and marketing role required, preferably in behavioral health or substance use disorder.
• Good understanding of the local market and referral base.
• Ability to create and develop referral sources.
• Knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatments.
• Well-developed and effective relational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements business development programs to increase revenues and profits.
• Identifies and prioritizes issues of importance and collaborates with leaders.
• Leads a team through hiring, onboarding, performance assessment and coaching.
• Maintains staff scheduling and contingency staffing plans.
• Represents the facility at professional and community events and manages referral sources.
• Completes monthly/quarterly/annual strategic plans and reports.
