Job summary

You will partner with product, engineering, and legal teams to implement privacy controls and ensure Reddit meets evolving obligations. The ideal candidate has 12+ years of legal experience (including 5+ years of in-house privacy or product counseling), strong drafting skills, and familiarity with US, EU, and other major frameworks.
Qualifications
- Licensed in US jurisdictions.
- 12+ years of legal experience.
- 5+ years in-house privacy/product counseling.
- Experience implementing privacy compliance programs.
- Strong drafting and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Reddit's privacy compliance program across US, EU and other frameworks.
- Advise product and engineering teams to design privacy controls.
- Manage regulatory inquiries and disclosures regarding privacy.
- Lead as SME for privacy and data protection within the legal team.
- Collaborate with regulators and external bodies as needed.
