Relx PLC, a global information company, seeks a Director of Global Media Relations to lead media strategy across campaigns, launches and thought leadership. The role oversees messaging with segment teams and external partners, shaping executive communications in a fast-paced environment.

Based in the US and fully remote, the Director will coordinate with agencies worldwide, advise senior leaders, and ensure rigorous media tracking and crisis response. Travel ~10% may be required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 7+ years of experience in media relations or corporate communications in a global, matrixed organization or agency setting.
• Established relationships with journalists covering science, healthcare, technology, or business.
• Experience counseling senior executives on media strategy, positioning, and crisis response.
• Strong news judgment and ability to translate complex topics for a general audience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead global media strategy and activities aligned with Elsevier priorities.
• Collaborate with segment teams on messaging, bylined articles, pitches and media content.
• Counsel senior executives on media strategy, positioning and crisis response.
• Coordinate with agencies and business partners to achieve media goals.
• Support global media activities including handling inquiries, planning, tracking and measurement.
