Job summary

Vero seeks a Director of Network Implementation to lead a high-performance OSP delivery team. This remote US role oversees end-to-end fiber projects, from permitting to testing, with a focus on vendor accountability and milestone-driven execution.

You will manage project budgets, schedules, and critical client communications, while driving cost efficiencies and process improvements across the service delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of operational leadership in high-stakes environments across the OSP lifecycle.
• Proven ability to lead and retain high-performing teams; experience managing people managers.
• Executive-level written and verbal communication with clients and leadership.
• Deep knowledge of end-to-end project lifecycle, permitting and construction.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and risk mitigation skills.
• Experience managing large capital budgets and cost savings.
• Understanding of fiber engineering standards and documentation.
• Experience with Google Suite, Maps, Earth, Smartsheet.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and develop an operations team of PMs and coordinators.
• Identify bids and negotiate contracts with environmental and OSP vendors.
• Manage multiple projects with schedules and budgets and regular calls.
• Oversee environmental, engineering, and construction firms; report and resolve roadblocks.
• Serve as primary operational partner for key accounts and client communications.
• Approve vendor invoices and act as escalation point.
• Provide strategic technical leadership for OSP operations from design to testing.
• Support build cost estimates and delivery timelines for sales.
• Improve service delivery processes and remove bottlenecks.
