Job summary

EAB is seeking a Director, Research Advisory Services to deliver strategic research insights and advisory services to higher education and K-12 clients. The role involves working with boards, presidents, and senior leaders to drive transformational initiatives and actionable outcomes.

The position requires engaging with education partners, providing expert guidance, and supporting sales efforts for new client development.

Qualifications

• Experience working with client executives at colleges, universities, districts, or schools or as a consultant/advisor.
• Superior verbal, written, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to create a compelling narrative through data visualization, graphics, and slides.
• Excellent relationship-building and collaboration skills; ability to engage and challenge senior-level executives.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain issue expertise across research terrains, delivering dynamic strategy for university leadership and fundraising readiness.
• Engage with advancement and cabinet leaders, guiding decisions and advising on best practices.
• Deliver EAB’s insights through phone consultations, virtual meetings, conferences, and on-campus presentations.
• Diagnose client dynamics, align efforts with institutional priorities, and path viable solutions.
• Collaborate with the research customer success team to scale partner delivery and support new business development.
