Job summary

Susan G. Komen is seeking a Director, Donor Experience to lead the national mid-level donor stewardship program and drive growth and retention. You’ll mentor the DXO team and oversee donor cultivation across mail and digital channels, reporting to the National Director of Strategic Philanthropy.

This fully remote role supports nationwide fundraising initiatives. You will train and coach staff, manage a $6M revenue portfolio, and ensure Salesforce records are current while advancing KPIs and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and successful work history in fundraising and relationship development.
• CFRE is desirable.
• 5+ years of experience managing, training, and leading a team to meet and exceed goals.
• High-energy individual with a passion to learn and contribute.
• Ability to work across the organization with employees of all levels and in all departments.
• Strong Salesforce, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint skills.
• Fundraising experience with revenue generation exceeding $1M+

Responsibilities

• Train mid-level (DXO) team in donor stewardship and cultivation plan.
• Implement ongoing stewardship and cultivation plans for donors giving through direct mail and digital channels.
• Utilize prescribed tools and accountability to fast-track donor engagement.
• Personally cultivate and grow revenue in a small portfolio of mid-level donors.
• Ensure the team executes prompt and effective stewardship for every gift.
• Coach DXO team to identify donors with high potential for major gifts.
• Ensure Salesforce is kept up to date on all donor interactions.
• Utilize other platforms (Momentum, Asana, FreeWill, etc.) and train others in these systems.
• Maintain knowledge of Susan G. Komen mission and programs.
• Manage the National Stewardship Program for unassigned donors.
