Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture and related disciplines
• 5+ years leading enterprise-scale data architecture strategies
• 3+ years in senior architecture or technical leadership roles
• Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms and lakehouse architectures
• Experience with regulated environments, security, privacy, and risk management
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for reviewing technical work

Responsibilities

• Own the target-state data architecture for the line of business and contribute to enterprise data strategies
• Translate business needs into data sourcing, modeling, governance, and serving requirements
• Drive alignment on architectural direction, trade-offs, and investment across leaders
• Oversee pilots and PoCs to validate architectural recommendations
• Design semantic, metadata layers, ontologies, and knowledge systems with engineering teams
• Evaluate AI trends (RAG, embeddings, vector search) to inform design and investments
• Create data contracts and reference architectures adopted by engineering teams
• Establish data governance, data quality, privacy, and AI-safety frameworks
• Influence architecture through documentation and validated proof points
