Job summary

uAvionix is seeking a Director of Service Operations to build and scale its Aviation Networks O&M. You will own end-to-end post-deployment service delivery for airport, ATC/ATM, and UAS customers, ensuring high availability and excellent customer experience from a new 24x7 VNOC to Tier 2 field support.

The role requires leadership of a growing org, strong SLA management, and close collaboration with Revenue, Program Management, and Engineering. Remote work is possible in the United States.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience building and operating service/operations at scale.
• Strong understanding of tiered support models, NOCs/VNOCs, and SLA-driven environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including executive-facing interactions.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate a 24x7 VNOC and Tiered Support structure.
• Define long-term O&M strategy across FAA SAI Blocks, APRT deployments, and customer types.
• Own service delivery outcomes: uptime, SLA compliance, costs, and customer satisfaction.
• Serve as executive owner for post-deployment customer operations and support.
• Lead handoff from deployment to steady-state operations with cross-functional teams.
• Develop dashboards, alerts, and automated SLA reporting to monitor performance.
• Travel up to <20% for on-site installations and reviews.
