Job summary

uAvionix is seeking an Airports UAS Technical Project Manager to lead multi‑disciplinary teams for deploying aviation network solutions across ATC, ATM, and BVLOS UAS operations. The role combines customer interaction, project management, and oversight of field installations and subcontractors, with responsibility for documentation and training to ensure a seamless experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field.
• 3+ years of project management or customer success experience.
• Experience in aviation, air traffic control, IoT, or telecommunications is a plus.
• PM certifications such as PMP, PgMP, CAPM are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interdepartmental teams to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy.
• Act as the primary point of contact with customers throughout the implementation process.
• Manage end‑to‑end implementation projects, including scheduling, logistics, and coordination with internal teams and third‑party vendors.
• Oversee subcontractors for electrical, fiber optic, and network installations and ensure compliance with technical specs.
• Maintain risks, status, and communication with management and customers; escalate issues as needed.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and deliverables; manage site configuration from survey to sign‑off.
• Lead cross‑functional teams and delegate tasks based on expertise and timelines.
