Job summary

Conduent seeks a Director of Audit Operations to lead end-to-end supplier tooling and banked inventory audit programs for automotive and manufacturing clients in the United States. You will drive strategic and operational leadership across multiple locations, ensuring audits are on schedule and findings properly documented.

You will manage field resources, governance, quality assurance, and financial reporting, partnering with Purchasing, Finance, and Engineering to deliver measurable business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations, or a related field.
• Seven+ years of experience in audit, supplier management, manufacturing operations, inventory control, finance, consulting, program management, or a related area.
• Three+ years of leadership experience managing teams or complex operational programs.
• Experience in automotive OEM, Tier 1 supplier, or complex manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading client-facing programs and communicating with senior/executive stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of audit operations, financial reconciliation, supplier management, risk management, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of supplier tooling and banked inventory audit programs.
• Provide strategic direction and operational leadership across multiple audit workstreams and locations.
• Manage audit schedules, resource assignments, capacity planning, workload balancing, and overall program delivery.
• Ensure audit activities meet contractual requirements and client expectations.
• Lead client governance meetings, operational reviews, and executive updates.
• Monitor KPIs like audit completion, cycle time, quality, and financial opportunities.
• Oversee audit teams including technical auditors and analysts.
• Support pre-audit planning, scope validation, risk assessments, and site planning.
