Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Director of AML Compliance to govern AML across all money movement products and advise risk mitigation efforts. The role leads governance, due diligence, and training while collaborating with Product, Legal, Sales, and Risk teams.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in AML leadership within payroll/fintech, with at least 5 years managing teams, and a strong track record of driving compliant, scalable controls in a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading AML compliance in payroll, banking or FinTech.
• 5+ years leading or managing teams.
• Strong ability to synthesize complex regulatory requirements.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration across product, risk, legal and operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AML program to maintain compliance with AML regulations and reporting.
• Serve as Paylocity’s AML Compliance Officer.
• Lead AML Governance Committee; brief senior management on trends and enhancements.
• Monitor know-your-client initiatives and due diligence frameworks.
• Advise on risk assessments, fraud risk, and control enhancements.
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, Sales, Legal, Risk and Operations to drive AML compliance.
• Provide guidance on new business initiatives with AML considerations.
• Deliver AML compliance training to stakeholders as needed.
• Participate in industry AML consortiums and knowledge sharing.
