Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Manager, AML & Money Transmission Compliance to lead a compliance team and drive the AML program across payroll, spend management, and benefits. You will partner cross-functionally on risk assessments, licensing, and regulatory readiness, ensuring adherence to federal and state requirements.

The role requires deep BSA/AML knowledge, leadership experience, and CAMS certification, with a remote U.S. work arrangement. Strong communication and project management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or JD preferred.
• 7+ years of experience (with bachelor’s) OR 5+ years (with master’s) in BSA/AML compliance or financial crimes.
• Leadership or supervisory experience required.
• Deep knowledge of BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, FinCEN, OFAC, and OCC expectations.
• CAMS certification required.
• Experience with state money transmitter licensing frameworks and NMLS.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of direct report(s) to meet goals.
• Develop and maintain the BSA/AML compliance program including policies and risk assessments.
• Support AML readiness activities including CDD/EDD, KYC onboarding, and monitoring.
• Manage money transmitter license obligations through NMLS and regulator filings.
• Conduct and enhance BSA/AML risk assessments across product lines.
• Oversee SAR investigations and 314(a) information sharing requests.
