Job summary

PHIL, a health-tech leader, is hiring a Director of Operational & Quality Excellence to lead a best-in-class platform. You’ll drive automation and AI to shift from manual audits to real-time controls, spanning patient support, pharmacists, and technicians.

Reporting to the VP of Operational Excellence, you’ll own the quality agenda, partner with Engineering and Product, and build a tenured team, delivering measurable reductions in error rates while expanding quality coverage.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in operational quality or related field in high-volume environments.
• 5+ years of leading a team or function.
• Hands-on experience deploying AI/automation to solve quality problems.
• Experience embedding controls in systems with test automation and release validation.
• Proven ability to drive results across teams without direct authority.
• Self-starter with ability to originate work and escalate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Define and run a quality roadmap with AI-enabled monitoring.
• Own quality for operational workflows and the platform, including test automation.
• Standardize workflows, documentation, and tooling across patient support, pharmacist, and pharmacy technician teams.
• Run an escalation framework with owners, dates, and accountability.
• Lead a tenured quality engineering team through change and report metrics to leadership.
