Job summary

PHIL, Inc. is seeking a Director of Operational & Quality Excellence to lead an AI-powered quality program across patient support, pharmacists, and technicians.

You will drive automated, real-time controls and partner with Engineering and Product to shape the system and processes that reduce errors before they reach patients. You’ll report to the VP of Operational Excellence, build a high-performing team, and deliver early wins such as automated controls and standardized quality reporting for

Qualifications

• 10+ years in operational quality or related fields.
• 5+ years leading a team or function.
• Hands-on experience deploying AI or automation tools.
• Experience embedding controls in systems with engineering partners.
• Record of driving results across teams without direct authority.
• You originate work and present data-driven narratives to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Define and run an AI-enabled quality monitoring roadmap.
• Own quality for operational workflows and platform development.
• Standardize workflows with embedded controls across teams.
• Establish a clear escalation framework with owners and dates.
• Lead a ~10-person quality team and provide executive visibility into metrics.
