Job summary

eJam Inc. is seeking freelance direct-response copywriters to script high-performing video ads for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. Write hooks, craft dialogues, and shape visuals that drive purchase intent.

You’ll work from briefs, test variations, and deliver scripts on a rolling schedule. This fully remote role offers flexible hours, performance-based briefs, and a chance to build a visible portfolio with real spend behind your work.

Qualifications

• Write video ad scripts with hooks for Meta, TikTok or YouTube.
• Develop a persona-first approach addressing specific problems.
• Create dialogue and visuals for on-screen action.
• Have real direct response experience with paid social for DTC ecommerce.
• Able to convert briefs into scripts quickly and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Write video ad scripts in various formats (creator, UGC, voiceover-driven demos).
• Generate multiple hooks and options for testing.
• Craft copy that triggers emotion while staying logical and purchase-focused.
• Describe visuals to accompany dialogue and on-screen elements.
• Clarify briefs, ask questions, and unblock progress when needed.
• Use performance data to inform future scripts and iterations.
• Follow product do/do-not lists and brand guidelines.
