Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Copywriter for a remote, six-month contract to develop direct mail copy across products and audiences. You will collaborate with art directors, creative directors, and marketing partners to translate strategy and consumer insights into effective communications that strengthen the brand and customer experience.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, a strong portfolio, and experience in financial services or fintech is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional copywriting experience
• Strong direct mail copywriting and copy-editing experience
• Excellent grammar and punctuation
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Portfolio link required with résumé
• Financial services or fintech experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Produce creative copy for a range of products within the Direct Mail Print channel
• Brainstorm concepts and execute detail-oriented projects with designers and marketing strategists
• Partner with internal marketing and line-of-business stakeholders
• Create marketing that uses strategy to inform decisions
• Apply integrated thinking across channels, products, and audiences while maintaining brand consistency
• Incorporate consumer insights to influence work and improve customer experiences
• Manage multiple deadlines and deliver error-free work
• Listen to and incorporate feedback and decide when to reuse solutions or build new ones
• Understand project goals, take direction, and present work clearly to varied audiences
