Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a remote Copywriter to develop direct mail copy across products for Capital One. The role requires 3–5 years of copywriting experience, strong direct mail and editing skills, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.

A portfolio link with résumé is mandatory, and financial services experience is preferred. This is a 6-month contract with potential extension or conversion.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of professional copywriting experience.
• Strong direct mail experience.
• Strong copy-editing ability.
• Excellent grammar and punctuation.
• Strong storytelling ability and writing clarity.

Responsibilities

• Produce creative copy for a range of products within the Direct Mail Print channel.
• Brainstorm concepts and collaborate with art directors, creative directors, and marketing strategists.
• Partner with internal marketing and line-of-business stakeholders.
• Create marketing that uses strategy to inform decisions and cut through the noise.
• Apply integrated thinking across channels, products, and audiences while maintaining brand consistency.
• Incorporate consumer insights to influence work and improve customer experiences.
