Job summary

Codeword is a remote-first agency with offices in NYC and SF that we won’t require you to visit. This contractor role starts in December and runs through May 2027, focusing on Digital Producer / Project Manager duties across Web Production, Email Marketing, and Content Marketing.

Compensation is $95–$115/hour, depending on experience, with monthly technology credit, transparent salary tiers, and inclusion within the WE Communications family.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in digital production or project management
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple digital workstreams and deadlines
• Experience managing projects from brief to launch
• Proactive and resourceful, identifying blockers and keeping projects moving
• Strong communicator with written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Partner with marketing to draft Content Requirement Documents (CRDs) and prep design files in Figma.
• Collect and consolidate stakeholder feedback during design and development.
• Coordinate with copywriters on drafts and revisions.
• Integrate target keywords and metadata into development specs with SEO.
• Lead handoffs with engineering and track QA bugs in the ticketing system.
• Coordinate with offshore engineering; lead weekly status calls.
• Oversee design feedback and weekly syncs with external agencies.
• Draft email content briefs and assemble Figma files for emails.
• Review email proofs and consolidate feedback for revisions.
• Content Marketing: track editorial status and create briefs for illustrations.
• Operations: write weekly status reports and maintain master copy docs.
