Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required if RD before 1/1/2024; Master's required if RD on/after 1/1/2024.
• RD/LDN registry eligible or RD license by the state Board of Dietetics and Nutrition.
• Experience in medical nutrition therapy and counseling is expected.

Aufgaben

• Assess and monitor nutritional status of patients/clients and adjust care based on literature.
• Provide MNT/counseling including education and monitoring of care.
• Complete documentation including plans, assessments, and nutrition analyses.
• Develop and utilize education materials; tailor to learner level and document responses.
• Participate in in-service development for residents and attending physicians.
• Disseminate nutrition research findings to the medical team and patients.
