Job summary

Pomelo Care is recruiting licensed registered dietitians to join its network as independent contractors. You’ll conduct synchronous video visits for midlife, perimenopause, and menopause support, delivering evidence-based nutrition care remotely and documenting visits thoroughly.

You’ll manage 10+ patient-facing hours weekly, operate within Pomelo’s credentialing and billing framework, and participate in a supportive clinical community while maintaining flexibility with your schedule.

Qualifications

• National certification as a registered dietitian (RD) or RD/N with license to practice.
• Ability to commit for a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Minimum of 3 years of evidence-based nutrition therapy for metabolic syndrome, weight loss, osteoporosis, gut health, and plant-based diets.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and electronic documentation systems.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits with patients navigating midlife, perimenopause, and menopause transitions.
• Provide one-on-one virtual nutrition care via phone and video calls to foster lifestyle change and wellbeing.
• Support a multi-week program format to improve symptoms and promote sustained behavior change.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
• Follow clinical, documentation, privacy, quality, and compliance standards for Pomelo visits.
