Job summary

Pomelo Care is building a network of experienced registered dietitians to deliver telehealth nutrition care for midlife, menopause, and related conditions. This independent contractor role does not provide employee benefits and is supported by Pomelo’s credentialing, scheduling, and billing services.

You will conduct synchronous video visits, provide personalized nutrition guidance, and participate in multi-week programs while maintaining documentation and adhering to privacy and quality

Qualifications

• National certification as a registered dietitian (RD) or registered dietitian/nutritionist (RDN) with license to practice in Indiana
• Minimum 10 patient-facing hours per week
• At least 3 years of evidence-based nutrition therapy experience for metabolic syndrome, weight loss, osteopenia/osteoporosis
• Experience with gut health concerns (IBS, elimination diets)
• Plant-forward/plant-based diet experience
• Comfort with telehealth platforms and electronic documentation systems

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits with patients navigating midlife, perimenopause, and menopause transitions
• Provide one-on-one virtual nutrition care via phone and video calls to facilitate lifestyle change and enhance patients’ wellbeing
• Work closely with patients in a multi-week program format to support symptom improvement and sustained behavior change
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation
• Follow applicable clinical, documentation, privacy, quality, and compliance standards for visits conducted through Pomelo
