Job summary

Pomelo Care is building a network of registered dietitians to provide synchronous virtual nutrition visits for midlife patients navigating perimenopause and menopause transitions. The role is a 1099 independent contractor position with support for credentialing and administrative tasks.

Dietitians will conduct video visits, deliver personalized nutrition care, and participate in multi-week programs, all while maintaining documentation and complying with standards.

Qualifications

• National RD/RDN certification with active license to practice in Indiana.
• Minimum 3 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition therapy.
• Experience with plant-forward/anti-inflammatory diets and metabolic syndrome.
• Comfort with telehealth and electronic documentation systems.
• Willingness to commit ≥10 patient-facing hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits with patients navigating midlife, perimenopause, and menopause transitions.
• Provide one-on-one virtual nutrition care via phone and video calls.
• Work with patients in a multi-week program to support symptom improvement and behavior change.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
• Follow applicable clinical, documentation, privacy, quality, and compliance standards.
