Job summary

The Veterans Health Administration, within the Department of Veterans Affairs, seeks physicians specialized in radiology for an open continuous vacancy. The position allows 100% remote work, within or outside the local commuting area of the parent VA station.

Responsibilities include interpreting imaging studies across modalities, participating in academic initiatives with Augusta University, and providing flexible coverage as needed. EDRP options and comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• United States Citizenship required; non-citizens may be appointed when necessary.
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent in allopathic/osteopathic medicine.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in a US state, territory, or DC.
• Completion of ACGME/AOA residency or approved equivalent post-training.
• English language proficiency (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic imaging services and radiology consultation to eligible patients.
• Interpret imaging studies across modalities (radiography, CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy).
• Obtain and maintain a clinical faculty appointment with Augusta University.
• Provide on-call, after-hours, or backup coverage as assigned.
