Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Radiologist for the VA Valley Coastal Bend Health Care System, Harlingen, TX. This remote position supports imaging interpretation and patient care across the United States with opportunities for Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP).

The role includes overseeing quality, safety, staff education, and coordination of care. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with competitive benefits and sign-on incentives where eligible.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from LCME/COCA-accredited school or equivalent.
• Eligibility for medical license in any US state or territory.
• Completion of radiology training and board certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance and performance improvement efforts.
• Oversee image quality, protocol selection, and safety in imaging.
• Educate staff and trainees; supervise imaging service operations.
• Interpret imaging exams and generate comprehensive reports.
• Coordinate patient care and consult with clinical colleagues.
