Job summary

Join a dedicated Radiology Service team at the Phoenix VA Health Care System, providing subspecialty radiology care across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings for Veterans in central Arizona.

Eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) with support for loan repayment and program review. Expect 90–100% direct patient care, teaching, and potential involvement in Grand Rounds and research activities within a supportive federal healthcare system.

Qualifications

• United States citizenship or eligible non-citizen status under VA policy.
• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine degree from an approved school.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the United States or DC.
• Completed residency in an approved core specialty and board eligibility.
• Board certification preferred; PRP or equivalency considerations may apply.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Provide a broad range of image interpretation and image-guided procedures as applicable.
• Deliver direct patient care in Radiology 90–100% of the time.
• Educate and train staff, trainees, and participate in committees.
• Mentor junior faculty and fellows; participate in research projects.
• Participate in department call duties and maintain accurate documentation.
