Vector3, Inc., is recruiting a DFIR Consultant to join TMHCC CPLG's Digital Forensics and Incident Response team. This remote, full-time role emphasizes triage, evidence preservation, analysis, and reporting to support client incidents from start to finish.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in digital forensics or IR, a bachelor's in cyber security or related field, and experience with DFIR tools. Strong communication and client collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in digital forensics or incident response.
• Bachelor's degree in cyber security, computer science, or IT-related field.
• Experience with DFIR tools and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Triage, acquisition, preservation, and analysis of endpoint, server, cloud, and log evidence.
• Develop accurate timelines, identify affected assets, and document findings clearly.
• Analyze malware, scripts, persistence, credential theft, lateral movement, and data theft activity.
• Use validated workflows to ensure evidence integrity and investigation quality.
• Communicate updates and reports to clients, insurers, and counsel.
• Support status calls and coordinate next steps across teams.
