Job summary

Leidos' High Fidelity Simulation Business Area seeks a DevSecOps/Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and operate modern infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will work with Kubernetes, container technologies, and cloud services to deliver secure, automated capabilities for the US Navy systems.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, security clearance eligibility, and hands-on experience with IaC, Git workflows, and software factories.

Qualifications

• You must have U.S. Citizenship and Secret clearance eligibility.
• You must have 2+ years in DevSecOps, platform or cloud engineering.
• You must have professional experience with Kubernetes, Git, Istio or similar, Helm, Ansible, OpenTofu or Terraform, and Docker/Podman.
• You must manage Linux systems (RHEL/ Rocky) and AWS infrastructure.
• You must know Git workflows, CI/CD, IaC, and container delivery; and perform security testing and vulnerability management.
• You must write automation with Bash, Python, etc.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes-based platforms (AWS EKS, RKE2).
• Develop Ansible automation for configuration and deployment tasks.
• Build reusable infra modules and CI/CD templates with IaC tooling.
• Integrate secure pipelines and automate security testing across the SDLC.
• Operate Linux servers, cloud infrastructure, and software factories (GitLab, Artifactory).
• Collaborate across teams and produce runbooks and documentation.
