Job summary

GDH Consulting, Inc. is seeking a DevSecOps Developer to design, implement, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure in a fully remote setting. This mid to senior role emphasizes automation, security, and AI-assisted tooling to accelerate cloud workflows.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize federal healthcare-like systems, apply IaC with Terraform and CloudFormation, and drive CI/CD with GitHub Actions while ensuring compliance and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps/cloud or platform engineering.
• Strong AWS experience across compute, storage, networking, security.
• Hands-on with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Scripting in Python, Bash or PowerShell for automation.
• Knowledge of AWS shared responsibility model and security best practices.
• CI/CD concepts and GitHub Actions experience.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable AWS infrastructure with native services.
• Provision resources via AWS Console/CLI and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Implements IAM, encryption and network segmentation for compliance.
• Automate provisioning and deployment pipelines with IaC.
• Monitor performance, availability, and cost; troubleshoot incidents.
• Enable CI/CD using GitHub Actions for streamlined deployments.
• Support containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Collaborate with teams to translate requirements into infra solutions.
• Use AI tools to accelerate scripting, automation, and troubleshooting while ensuring security and compliance.
