Job summary

Applied Information Sciences, Inc. is seeking a DevSecOps Automation Engineer for a fully remote role in the United States. You will design secure infrastructure as code, reusable CI/CD pipelines, and migration scripts to support a large-scale cloud migration from on‑prem to Azure and AWS.

You will collaborate with enterprise platform and security teams, embed security controls, and guide engineers in secure pipeline practices and automation across the migration lifecycle.

Qualifications

• US Citizen with minimum five years in DevOps/DevSecOps or infrastructure automation.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation) required.
• Experience building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Experience automating deployments in Azure and AWS with secure identity and access practices.
• Ability to work independently with limited guidance on diverse tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop secure IaC for Azure and AWS using enterprise patterns.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, scripts, and workflows for migrations.
• Automate security, compliance, configuration, and policy checks in pipelines.
• Create automated pre/post-migration validation for infrastructure and apps.
• Integrate security controls and guardrails with enterprise teams.
• Maintain source control, docs, and reusable automation assets.
• Support migration teams and mentor junior DevSecOps engineers.
