Job summary

Regions is seeking a Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to advance our cloud strategy and build robust, secure CI/CD pipelines for scalable deployments. You will work with technical and stakeholder teams to automate builds, security analyses, and deployments while enabling rapid, reliable software delivery in a remote setup.

The role emphasizes automation, security, and cloud expertise across AWS/Azure, with a focus on modern DevSecOps practices and immutable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Eight years of related post-secondary education and/or professional experience in Information Security or Information Technology.
• Ability to design and implement secure Cloud CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineers and IT teams to orchestrate code builds, quality and security analyses, deployments, and automated testing through CI/CD release candidate pipelines.
• Translate business needs into effective technology solutions.
• Model release candidate CI/CD pipelines to clearly define stages and steps for release readiness.
• Design and develop fully automated CI/CD pipelines supporting cloud deployments, including infrastructure, services, apps, and deployment automation.
• Ensure CI/CD components follow sound software engineering practices, including automated testing.
• Implement scalable CI/CD platforms to support high change volumes and rapid feedback.
• Automate operational activities and repetitive tasks.
• Research new technologies to improve development, deployment, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor performance alerts and incidents related to CI/CD platforms; provide root cause analyses.
• Develop and test Ansible Playbooks, Terraform scripts, and Packer scripts for immutable infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, InfoSec, Software Delivery, and QA teams to enable cloud adoption via automation.
