Job summary

Applied Information Sciences, Inc. (AIS) is seeking a DevSecOps Automation Engineer to support a large-scale cloud migration program. You will develop secure infrastructure as code for Azure and AWS, build CI/CD pipelines, and automate security checks across migration, validation, and rollback.

Collaborate with enterprise platform and security teams, share knowledge, and help guide less experienced engineers while delivering compliant, repeatable automation.

Qualifications

• US Citizen with at least five years in DevOps/DevSecOps or infrastructure automation.
• Proficient in infrastructure as code using Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Experience building automated CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions with automated testing and security checks.
• Experience deploying in Azure and AWS with secure IAM and configuration practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop secure, reusable infrastructure as code for Azure and AWS target environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, scripts, and workflows that automate migration, configuration, deployment, validation, rollback, and recovery.
• Automate security, compliance, configuration, and policy checks within build and deployment workflows.
• Create automated pre- and post-migration validation to confirm infrastructure, apps, authentication, and services operate as expected.
• Integrate approved security controls and guardrails into automation with enterprise teams.
• Maintain source control, documentation, and reusable automation assets to improve migration speed and repeatability.
• Support migration teams and guide less experienced engineers in DevSecOps practices.
