Job summary

Applied Information Sciences is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer specializing in Cloud Migration Test Automation. The role focuses on building automated validation tests for Azure and AWS migrations, validating configurations, and delivering evidence for migration readiness.

You will work remotely on a mission-driven, employee-owned team delivering impactful client solutions. Responsibilities include developing test scripts, leading automation initiatives, and ensuring QA best practices

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of software testing or quality engineering experience, including building automated test frameworks.
• Strong PowerShell and Python scripting skills for developing automated validation scripts and reusable test utilities.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, API, and database testing.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, pytest, or Robot Framework.

Responsibilities

• Develops reusable automated test scripts and frameworks to validate migrated applications.
• Establishes baselines before migration and compares post-migration results to identify failures.
• Validates Azure and AWS configurations after migration, including networking, connectivity, and cloud services.
• Validates APIs, interfaces, integrations, and databases for data integrity and access.
• Executes smoke, regression, and performance tests against baselines.
• Integrates automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for reporting.
• Manages test cases, results, defects, and traceability in test tools (e.g., Jama Connect).
• Shares results, risks, and Go/No-Go recommendations with the team lead.
