Job summary

Boardable is seeking a versatile DevOps/Test Automation Engineer for a remote US or hybrid in Fishers, Indiana role. You will manage cloud infrastructure, automate tests, and help shape AI-backed testing workflows in a compliance-focused environment.

Responsibilities span design of AWS infra, security testing, CI/CD, and QA across PHP/Laravel and VueJS/Livewire stacks, with emphasis on reliability, cost control, and data governance.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and scaling AWS infrastructure.
• Familiarity with HIPAA/SOC II compliance frameworks.
• Proven ability to build automated test suites (unit/integration/E2E).
• Hands-on with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, PHPUnit or equivalents.
• Experience weaving tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Know-how testing PHP/Laravel and VueJS/Livewire apps.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong project management and organizational capabilities.
• Security best practices in infra and application development.
• BI, data lakes, ETL or analytics experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure with scalable EC2.
• Lead security testing activities and track remediation.
• Monitor performance and automate scaling and cost controls.
• Maintain compliance audit trails and security docs.
• Own deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes.
• Build automated tests for PHP/Laravel and VueJS/Livewire.
• Develop AI orchestration workflows using LLMs and tools.
• Integrate AI tooling into test generation, reproduction, and triage.
• Collaborate with engineers to diagnose defects and improve quality.
• Manage test data, environments, and fixtures in a compliant way.
