Job summary

Operative Games is seeking a DevOps Engineer to own and optimize our AWS-based infrastructure for an AI-driven narrative platform. You will lead IaC, build robust CI/CD pipelines, and implement security and compliance across systems.

This hands-on role requires collaboration with engineering teams to ensure scalable, secure, and cost-efficient operations, while advancing our observability, monitoring, and cloud-native tooling.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure management.
• Strong AWS background with hands-on experience
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• CI/CD experience with modern tooling
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash) and automation mindset
• Collaborative and proactive in a fast-paced startup environment

Responsibilities

• AWS Infrastructure Ownership: Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure.
• Infrastructure as Code: Implement and manage IaC to support repeatable deployments.
• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitoring & Logging: Set up observability tools for performance and uptime.
• Security & Compliance: Apply cloud security best practices including IAM, encryption, secret management.
• Collaboration & Support: Work with engineering to support deployment needs and best practices.
• Cost Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud usage for cost-efficient scaling.
