Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Developmental Disabilities Program Representative to help shape policies and support programs improving lives for individuals with developmental disabilities. You will coordinate activities, gather data, and promote strong outcomes in collaboration with partners.

This position supports statewide planning, coordination, and evaluation of programs serving individuals and families.

Qualifications

• Three years of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating a human services program that includes one year serving individuals with developmental disabilities.
• An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year in programs serving individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Policy Research: Review laws and regulations to understand their impact on individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Grant Coordination: Prepare work statements, review grantee reports, and provide technical assistance to funded projects.
• Program Monitoring: Evaluate statewide projects and recommend actions aligning with council goals.
• Community Outreach: Help individuals and families access community services and supports.
• Collaboration Work: Participate in statewide groups planning disability-related policies.
• Training Support: Assist trainings and help develop materials for council programs.
