Job summary

College Possible- Texas seeks a Director of Development to lead fundraising statewide with a focus on major gifts and donor stewardship. This remote role supports the College Possible mission, with travel within Texas as needed and collaboration with national teams.

The position drives strategic planning, grant writing, donor cultivation, and events to reach revenue goals while maintaining a strong emphasis on equity and student access to higher education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree and/or CFRE preferred.
• Six+ years of progressively responsible fundraising experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify, cultivate and solicit major gifts from foundations, corporations, and high net worth individuals.
• Develop and execute annual fundraising plan including revenue forecasts and donor strategies.
• Develop, write and submit grant proposals and direct mail/digital campaigns.
• Lead prospecting and donor research to grow the donor base and five-figure gifts.
• Plan and execute fundraising events for major donors.
• Track relationship management activities using Salesforce and ensure timely stewardship.
• Lead communications, marketing, and public relations efforts for Texas, coordinating with National team.
• Represent College Possible Texas externally with strong leadership and collaboration.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
