The American Heart Association is seeking a Development Director, School Engagement to drive fundraising and school partnerships across Wyoming and Fort Collins, CO, with flexible hours and travel. This remote role coordinates Kids Heart Challenge and American Heart Challenge, engaging hundreds of schools to promote activity and health.

You will recruit volunteers, manage CRM data, and support events and assemblies while balancing field work with data-driven reporting and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant experience in fundraising, sales, or other related experience.
• Ability to do daily local travel; requires access to reliable transportation at all times on an immediate basis.
• University/College degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work productively and efficiently from a home office and in the field.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and communicate proactively.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM data management.

Responsabilités

• Recruit and engage students through schools and districts in fundraising programs.
• Implement classroom challenges, activities and assemblies (in-person and digital).
• Develop and cultivate relationships with teachers, principals and district superintendents.
• Establish and maintain outstanding customer service with volunteers and collaborators.
• Manage and update account information within CRM databases and Microsoft products.
• High volume account management with 5-10 schools daily, in-person or online.
