Job summary

Idera, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to own how developers discover, understand, and fall in love with our APIs. This hands-on role requires real coding experience, a developer mindset, and strong opinions on docs, DX, and content.

You will partner with product and engineering to translate technical capability into compelling positioning, launches, and content that developers actually read.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product marketing or developer marketing, working with developers.
• Strong writing skills with ability to simplify complex tech for developers.
• Excellent UX sense and content design for developer journeys.
• Fluent English communication and proactive collaboration with product/engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own positioning and messaging for API products, grounded in developer understanding.
• Plan and execute launches and feature announcements with technical narrative.
• Create developer-facing content: landing pages, launch posts, emails, in‑product copy.
• Collaborate with product/engineering to deepen product knowledge and testing of APIs.
• Improve developer journey with onboarding flows, quickstarts, and DX initiatives.
• Conduct win/loss analysis and customer interviews to sharpen messaging.
• Define metrics for activation, adoption, and content performance.
