Job summary

Expo is seeking a content writer to create tutorials, guides, blog posts, and sample apps for developers using the Expo platform. You will build every example on real devices against the current SDK, and nothing ships until it runs.

This remote role (US) sits in Marketing and reports to the Head of Marketing, collaborating with DevRel, docs, product and engineers to drive signups and EAS activation. You’ll be measured by signups and top-of-funnel pipeline from your published content.

Qualifications

• 3+ years writing technical content for developers
• Understanding of how SEO works for developer content
• Experience using data to decide what to write and tie posts to signups
• Daily use of AI tools and ability to discuss their impact
• Clear, concise writing that prioritizes what matters

Responsibilities

• Ship hands-on technical content weekly (tutorials, guides, blog posts)
• Own the education hub content plan and route readers to Expo products
• Turn SEO findings into content with structured pages for search engines and LLMs
• Plan execution of content for launches with product marketing and engineers
• Draft video scripts and outlines with Expo engineers for tutorials and launches
• Collaborate with docs team on guides and report product friction to the right teams
• Tie content to outcomes by tracking signups and activation and influencing pipeline
