Job summary

Expo, Inc is seeking a writer to craft developer-focused tutorials, guides, blogs, and sample apps. Work remotely in the US, collaborating with DevRel, docs, product, and engineers to drive signups and EAS activation.

You will ship hands-on content weekly, own the education hub plan, and turn SEO findings into content. You will also draft video scripts and contribute to launches, linking readers to Expo products.

Qualifications

• 3+ years writing technical content for developers; public portfolio.
• Understanding of how SEO works for developer content and how LLMs cite sources.
• Experience turning data into content decisions and linking posts to signups.
• Proficient with AI tools to speed up content creation and developer workflows.
• Clear, precise writing with ability to ship end-to-end content.

Responsibilities

• Ship hands-on technical content weekly: tutorials, guides, blogs, and sample apps.
• Own the education hub content plan and problem-first explainers.
• Translate SEO findings into structured content that attracts developers.
• Contribute content for launches and coordinate with product and engineers.
• Draft video scripts and outlines for YouTube tutorials and launch walkthroughs.
• Close gaps between docs and real-world usage; report findings to teams.
• Tie content to outcomes and track signups and product adoption.
